A recent Homes.com survey echoes what I hear from clients all the time: today’s buyers want more than just four walls. Private yards for that bit of mountain peace, secure spaces, flexible layouts, and dedicated home offices are all rising to the top of the wish list. It’s not just about the features, though. Financial confidence and trust in builder quality are critical. The ability to customize, and even the use of AI and video tools during the search, are now standard expectations.
